Perched atop the Maya Hotel, the top‐floor patio was completely reimagined into an elevated day‐to‐night destination. What was previously an underutilized outdoor space is now a vibrant oasis, featuring bold accent lighting, custom seating nooks, and a retractable canopy system. Every detail—from the outdoor bar configuration to the curated landscape plan—was meticulously designed to create an immersive environment that captures Scottsdale’s energetic spirit while maintaining a seamless connection to the hotel below.

Spanning 15,000 square feet in total, our work focused exclusively on transforming the open‐air rooftop. We demolished the old flooring, reset the grade for improved drainage, and installed new high‐performance tile surfaces throughout. Custom millwork was fabricated for the bar façade and lounge partitions, while new pergola structures and feature walls were built to define intimate VIP areas. To ensure guest comfort, we extended HVAC chases to deploy overhead misting systems and installed weather‐resistant lighting rigs capable of supporting evening events without impacting the hotel’s interior systems.

A key highlight was the seamless visual integration between the refurbished patio and the existing club interior. We coordinated closely with the hotel’s design team to match color palettes and metal accents, so guests enjoy a cohesive aesthetic when moving between the main club and the rooftop. New glass balustrades were installed along the perimeter to provide unobstructed views of Old Town Scottsdale, while subtle planning of sightlines ensured the outdoor experience feels like a natural extension of the venue’s renowned nightlife atmosphere.
